A wedding is a special ceremony, it is the celebration of marriage of two people who wish to declare their love and commitment to each other. There are many ways that a wedding ceremony can be held and as a Celebrant it is my role to support the couple to ensure that their ceremony is their own unique celebration that creates a very special memory for them. Wedding ceremonies have been held for many years and today we can follow those very traditional formats for a wedding ceremony or we can create something truly unique. There are so many things to consider: Venue Timing Theme Readings Music Traditional contemporary formal Casual and and so on I can help with working through all those questions, guiding and supporting the couple to create the ceremony that is most suitable to them. I am there to listen and then suggest the best way to create the ceremony that the couple would like. One very important part of the ceremony is the vows, the promises that the couple make to each other. I encourage couples to write their own vows and support them to do that so that their vows are truly theirs and very meaningful for those two people.
