Description

Giving children the skills to a healthier and happier future.

Simple, easy to follow recipes and tips teaching children how to grow their own food, how to prepare nourishing low-cost meals for their families and how to love good food.

A book to set New Zealand children (and adults) up for life!

About Joshua

I am thirteen years old and in 2009 I came runner up in the New Zealand Garden of the year award for growing lots of vegetables and giving them away to neighbours.

My Mum inspired me to grow vegetables and share what I have grown.
Together with my Mum we have written this book to help other children grow and prepare nutritious food.

This book has delicious recipes for all the family and gardening tips.

My dream is that all children have the knowledge and encouragement to grow food.

We plan with the sale of our book to help children from low socio schools get food on the table and teach them how to grow and cook nutritious low cost meals.

We hope that you will enjoy our book. It has taken two years and my garden now looks amazing with lots of yummy vegetables in it.

Fundraiser for Schools

We hope you will buy our book as a fundraiser and with the money you make be able to plant more trees and vegetables in your school.

If your school is in Marlborough we are happy to give you free advice on getting started with a vegetable garden. For other schools in New Zealand use our book as your guide and raise money to start your own vegetable, herb garden and plant trees.
